Iman

Iman originates in Arabic language and means "faithful person". It was derived from the name of an Islamic concept of having faith and believing in the religion of Islam. It can be used as both feminine and masculine given names, as well as a surname. It was popularized by Iman, a Somali-American fashion model, the wife of David Bowie.
