Dabney

Dabney is the English version of the old and distinguished French name Daubeney, which itself was derived from the addition of the “de” in front of a number of locational names such as Aubigne and Aubigny. Both these names are derived from the Latin “albinus” which means 'white' and “acum” which means 'settlement'.
