Alfredo

Alfredo is a Spanish, Portuguese and Italian variant of Alfred. Alfred originates in Germanic languages and means 'advice from elves'. Alfred is derived from the old English name 'Alvred' which literally translates to 'elf counsel'. This name became very popular only after Queen Victoria named one of her sons Alfred, one of the greatest kings of England.
