Bradley

Bradley originated as a surname and this usage is prevalent until today. It was derived from an Old English place name which meant “broad clearing”. Some sources also suggest Bradley might be an Anglicisation of the Irish name O’Brallaghan. The popularity of Bradley as a masculine given name in the US rose significantly in the 1930s and it has been frequently used ever since.
