Carberry

Carberrry is a Scottish as well as Irish name of Gaelic origin. Carberry is a name of a place and people who came from that place had the surname Carberry. It comes from the Gaelic word 'crebarrin' which is a combination of the words 'carrob', meaning 'tree' and 'barrin', meaning 'hedge'. Carberry is also the anglicized version of the name MacCairbre which means 'son of Cairbre'.
