Erasmo

Erasmo is an Italian, Spanish and Portuguese variant of Erasmus. The name Erasmus has ancient Greek as well as Biblical origins. It is derived from the ancient Greek word 'erasmos' which means 'dear or dearest'. Erasmus was the name of a 4th century martyr and Christian saint, as well as the name of a Dutch renaissance humanist.
