Juno originates in Latin language and means "young woman". In Roman mythology, Juno was the goddess of marriage and the queen of all gods. Her father was Saturn, her brother Jupiter and she was the mother of Mars and Vulcan. Hera would be her Greek equivalent. As a feminine given name, Juno is very rare in the United States, despite having been popularized by the 2007 Academy Award winning comedy-drama of the same name.
