Paige

Paige originates in Old English and means "young servant". The origin can be traced back to Greek language, derived from an element which meant "boy". In the Middle Ages, being a page was the first step to becoming a knight. As opposed to being used as a surname in medieval times, nowadays Paige is mainly used as a female given name, the male usage is rather rare.
