Ahuitzotl

Ahuitzotl originates in Native American languages and means "watering dog". This was the name of the Aztec ruler of Tenochtitlan, the capital of the Aztec Empire, in the 15th and 16th century. As a masculine given name, Ahuitzotl is very rare in the United States these days.
