Aloha

Aloha originates in Hawaiian language and means "loving person". It can be used as both feminine and masculine given names, but is more common for girls. Since the 19th century, the word 'aloha' itself has been used as an English greeting, saying hello and goodbye, and that is also how Hawaii got its state nickname, Aloha State.
