Nemesis

Originates in Greek language and means "to give what should be given". In Greek mythology, Nemesis was a goddess of revenge. In a work of fiction, Nemesis is the archenemy of the main character. It is also the name of a novel by Agatha Christie and Isaac Asimov, as well as a play by Alfred Nobel.
